Skills for Seeing Training

Many eye conditions, such as Macular Degeneration, can lead to the loss of central vision. Skills for Seeing training could help you make the most of your residual vision. It can offer new ways of seeing, which could help you in your daily tasks such as reading, getting about, taking care of yourself, seeing people and watching TV.

We have trained volunteers at our local group who may be able to help you to learn these new techniques. Our volunteers will also help you with lighting advice, using magnifiers, and any other concerns you may have.

For further information, contact:
Sue Addis – 01538 756398

We can also signpost you to other agencies who will be willing to offer you help and advice.
